Can you help me with my problem with the sound of my PC. Im using an Asus P8H77-M LE mother board. Whenever i turned on the power from my PSU i can hear a buzzing sound from my speaker even if its not yet booting up. and when im on windows desktop it doesn't have any sounds but it shows that its working from the bottom right corner. I already did reinstalled my sound driver and also did downloaded the newer driver from the Asus website.

heres what i already did:

1. i thought it was grounded so i took everything off from my case and tested but still the same

2. i've search in google that it might be the PSU, so i used my other PSU and was the same

3. i tested my speakers with my iphone and it works fine

4. now im pissed! :D

Note: please move my post if i had it posted on the wrong section.

The speakers are too close together or too close to your iphone, a phone device should be kept at least four feet away from speakers. Interfrence is a big problem with speakers. Keep away from other electronics as well as the PC.

You could try using ferrite coils, they reduce the interference along the wires, you might notice a bulge in one of your headphone cables, that is a ferrite coil. Loop the speaker wire through a ferrite coil, that might help however sometimes you need a heap of them.

The problem with speakers is that once they get affected by interference most of them never recover and they always squeak and squeal and crackle regardless of where you put them.
