Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM R2.0 Intel H61 Socket 1155 mATX Motherboard

Are these two compatible? If not place state why.

That particular ram/vendor is not supported by Asus according to their QVL. That does not mean the ram won't work, it just means Asus does not recognize VisionTek on the qualified vendor list.

Yeah, The ram didn't work.. i was just making sure it was the ram.

Yeah - Asus boards can be picky. Use their QVL list and pick up some kingston (QVL here - http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8H61M_LECSM_R20/#MSL)
