Help Applying heatsinks to MSI 970A G43

I bought this board and these heatsinks that were recommended in another thread. Now to apply them to the VRM chips do I need to do anything other than just sit them on the chips until they stick?

I would return both, and pickup an Asus or Gigabyte board. I have the G46 model, and it died within a few months. the G43 model is a fire hazard even with heatsinks.
