Hello folks,

I am hoping to upgrade my desktop hardware.
Two items in my list were - RAM and Graphics card.
Since I have Windows 8 32 bit, I cannot upgrade the RAM anymore. I have 4 GB right now.

The other item in my list is the graphics card. The current one that I have is:
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO

Any recommendations for a better upgrade choice?

Here is my current configuration. Any upgrade suggestions are welcome. I am using this as a gaming machine - mostly simulation type games (CiM2 is what I am playing right now - which is sluggish at best)

You don't say what your screen resolution is, your PSU wattage, or your budget. So, armed with almost no information, I would safely suggest an HD 7750 for a major boost from the card you have now.

That should give you good game play at 1680x1050 resolution and less with high settings.

ouch, if you bought a q9x00 series then i would suggest that you oc that and get a better gpu.
personally i wouldn't go lower than a 7770. 7850 would be better
