I am in despair as I cannot figure out what is wrong with my computer. I am currently running Windows 8. Here are my specs.
Alienware Aurora Desktop
Intel(R) Core (TM) I7 CPU 975
6gb RAM
64bit OS
I am having several problems. First my computer is unstable it crashes randomly for no apparent reason. I get this when it BSOD's
Windows8 Error in C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
When I try to restart the computer it hangs on restart forcing me to turn it off manually. The OTHER issue and I'm not sure if it's related to this but my driver system cannot seem to find this "SERIAL ATA CONTROLLER" driver. I have no idea if it's related to the crashing.
I checked with slimdriver and made sure all my drivers are all up to date.
I ran memtest86 and chkdisk to see if my memory and or hard drive was going and it came up with nothing. I have no idea where to go from here. Any help at all would be appreciated.
