Wi fi network adapter installed but not shown under Device manager..Please help

I am using DELL INSPIRON N5110 from last 1.5 years.I have formatted the system with windows 7 ultimate(64 bit)and installed all the drivers including wi-fi drivers but my wi-fi connection is not visible.I Checked under Device manager->network adapter but no wireless adapter was there nor in network connection. My wireless switch is on but as soon as I go mange wireless network tab,Its showing that wireless network is not enabled.I have checked in BIOS also but network connection are enabled..
It seems wireless network adapter is missing but How come I have installed this driver.Could someone help me regarding this?

  1. Where did you install the driver from?

The problem is that you don't have the driver, or don't have the correct one - look under device manager, other and see what's there.
