I was on Windows 8 when the sound stopped working after the bios update. I then had to format back to windows 7 (for other reasons) but even after the format the sound still isn't working. I rolled back to the previous BIOS version for when it was working but still no luck. I checked the BIOS settings for the onboard audio and its set to enabled. I'm currently on a freshly installed windows 7 with all the latest drivers and still I can't get sound. The headphones are plugged to the usual green port.
