I have Dell XPS L511z Laptop it's about 2 years old
Recently it started to shut down in the middle of game play. I have to always start my laptop back up.
My CPU is running at 80% just by playing the sims 3
My motherboard is running at 80% also. I used two software to check my temperatures speccy and speed fan .
My specs are :
Intel core I5-2410m 2.30ghz
6.00 of Ram
Nividia Geforce GT 525M
64 bit operating system
Windows 7
I went to best buy and bought a cool pad and that didn't work.
I also opened it and cleaned it out, that cooled it down to around 70%
but it still shuts off when I play Skyrim, Mafia 2 or Mass effect. I play on low to medium graphic settings also. i hope I don't have to buy a new laptop
When I play fallout 3 or fallout new Vegas it/s fine for about an hour.
I don't know if this matter but i have about 77.3 GB of songs on my computer too
