I have pq5pro asus motherboard , 700w psu. All components work , upgraded my old video card and the new 7950 card will not power on at the monitor so its blank , computer boots no display, yes all cords are connected, old card works, Should this card work on this motherboard ? Cannot see why it won't ..

1)Remove the gpu , plug monitor cable to mobo's onboard output

2)start pc - go to device manager - display - uninstall whichever drivers is

3)restart pc - put gpu back

Motherboard does not have on board video , old video drivers were uninstalled in windows , however screen does not turn on prior to boot up
