Do I need to connect the two branching AMOLEX connector of the six ping connector to the Power Supply?

IF your asking if you have to connect the 6 pin power cable to your graphics card, yes you do, some cards that require two power plugs will allow you to only connect one, although you may have problems with it.

no you do not need to connect both of those the psu, the other one is if you want to daisy chain another 6 pin connector
