Hello Guys I want to buy radeon hd 4850 and core 2 duo E6400 my Pc Like this: CPU core 2 duo E6400 and have 4 gig of ddr3 ram with 1200 w PSU
my question is could i have any bottleneck and will i play games like BF3 Far Cry 3 on High setting now in 1280x1024 future 1680x1050

Solution
My Q6600 @ 2.6 GHz Bottlenecks the 4850 in battlefield 3 , so yeah at battlefield 3 it will , but any other game , it will run great at a lower resolution like 1366x768 or 1400x900 , at high. Whereas for any other game which does not require 4 threads , it will run great , any game before 2013 will go great , my rig can even handle bioshock infinite @ 1366x768 maxed with 50 - 60 fps.

So if money is an issue (like me :p) go get that core 2 duo for 45 $

UPDATE : Yes @ 1280x1024 , latest and older games , 1920 x 1080 , old games , yes , new NO

Both that CPU and GPU are pretty old already. Both will struggle to play BF3 or FarCry 3 on anything but the lowest settings.

How much is the seller asking for that system? Its got to be around 5 years old already so chances are its well used. I would say its worth around $200 or less.

Hi
Are you buying the whole computer or just the cpu and gpu? It sin't worth it buying just the cpu and gpu unless they are SUPER CHEAP. If you are buying the whole system for no more than $200 and it has a good case, dvd-rw, hard drive and psu that you can use later for a new build, then it is not a bad deal.

The Pentium 4 530 is very old. Are you sure your mobo can handle the E6400? also, the HD 7770 is not $220.00. You can find it for $110.00 - $130.00.

My MoBo is AsRock G41m-VS3 it can handle it perfectly
and i know 7770 its 120 $ but we have anything very expensive and GTX is 190$ so that why i go for 4850 its only 40 $
