Hey Guys,

So i've got three Asus VE248 monitors to configure in three monitor surround mode.

The graphics card i'm getting (4GB Gigabyte GTX670) has one display port, one hdmi & two DVI.

My original thought was to run one screen off HDMI (Middle) and outer two on DVI.
(all the same quality, i know)

However, I read somewhere that you MUST use a displayport, and I wasn't aware of this. I'm running a single card. What is the best option for me? I have a HDMI & DVI cable here, so how would I connect these three monitors?

unksol is absolutely correct, before I sold my rig I had a gtx 660 and i ran my 3x displays using 2x dvi and the hdmi port via hdmi to dvi adapter (my monitors did not have hdmi) and it worked flawlessly.

is it possible for me to run a surround setup on 5760x1080 for productivity, but game only on the middle screen? - But still have the display register as one for everything else? (One gtx 670 4gb wont give nice frames on 5760x1080)

youll have to play in windowed mode other wise it will either span across all 3 in fullscreen or if you do windowed fullscreen it will be the middle monitor but the other two may not display anything. when i wanted mulitple windows open on my monitors (browser, itunes, etc) i played my games in windowed mode
