I recently built my first Pc, installed windows, installed my motherboard and video drivers, and fully updated windows(in that order). All of a sudden I got a BSOD and missed what it said. Then I rebooted and ran the RAM diagnostic tool as I was prompted. This came up with no errors. I booted to windows and everything seemed ok. The next day it happened again about 20 minutes after startup. This time I saw that it said: page fault in non page area. From what I have read it could be a RAM issue or possibly a driver issue. Since the Ram checked out I am thinking maybe I installed drivers incorrectly... Im not sure how to proceed to fix this. The PC still boots to windows and seems ok, hasn't happened again yet.

Any advice on how to diagnose this and fix? Thanks

Edit: Well I have had the pc on all day and have not seen any more bsods. I have noticed that I get error messages such as: Catalyst control center: Host application has stopped working, and also something called window manager getting errors. I don't know if this is related as well but google chrome has crashed a couple times as well.. I would really appreciate some input on this, it has me very worried..

Well l accidentally fell asleep while downloading a game from steam and woke up to it saying that it recovered from an unexpected shutdown (I am assuming a BSOD). Before that I was getting more program crashes such as:
Catalyst Control Center: host application has stopped working
McAffee service host crash
Windows Explorer has stopped working
Basically programs and Chrome keep crashing on me. It seems to happen when I am multitasking. I got the windows explorer error when I had three file locations open and they all closed. When I tried uploading about 10 photos chrome crashed about 6 times in a row versus every once in awhile.
I know this might not be all related but I am trying to give as much info as possible so hopefully someone here can help me. Thanks again.
