Hi,

the PC I use is a build I've had for about a year, usually works fine but a blue screen error started happening, got it twice in a few days, luckily I was not working but browsing the web when it happened so I did not lose data but I'm very afraid that it happens while I'm doing a job. Blue screen happens, no time to read anything the PC resets. No clue whatsoever why. Also like about 3 times on 5 when I wake it from sleep it just turns off instead of restoring the session.

Please any help in solving these would be greatly appreciated.

explain how this came to start happening - what did you do, did you install a program, clean the computer, add memory, etc...

read the Event Log to see hints of the possible cause of the BSOD's

the only major change I made was transferring about 1tb of data on an external hard drive, it was all media files no programs.

events logged around time of last crash seem to be about PNRPsvc / peer networking service, i.e. :

The Peer Networking Grouping service depends on the Peer Name Resolution Protocol service which failed to start because of the following error:
%%-2140993535

The Peer Name Resolution Protocol cloud did not start because the creation of the default identity failed with error code: 0x80630801.

The Peer Name Resolution Protocol service terminated with the following error:
%%-2140993535

not sure if that can be the cause
