Very bad Refresh Rate Vizio M420VT

I have a Vizio M420VT which I recently replaced the LVDS cables. After the replacement I had an issue with the T-con board which I replaced. Now I have every other line on the LCD and the refresh rate is extremely slow to the point it takes a few seconds to re-draw. I have doublechecked the lvds cable alignment, Where else would I start my troubleshooting and what would I check? I am not a novice with regard to electronics just dont have any troubleshooting docs. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked that you installed the correct version of the T-Con board. There seems to be many different models for each TV. I had some success following this blog to replace mine:

Apparently if you use the wrong T-Con board you can end with other problems such as a slow refresh rate.
