I really like to play games like Bf3, Skyrim, Far cry 3 in high/ultra settings all maxed out and i want a solid fps about 60-70 or maybe more with fraps on.

Specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: P67-DS3-B3
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 2TB
Ram: 16GB
Power Supply: 500 watts (I was also thinking of a new Power supply with 700-800 watts)

Budget is £450 or just a bit higher,

I got recommended Geforce GTX 680 but i'd like to make sure that this is the best one for me to buy right now. Please help!

Thanks in Adv.

Myself I bought an Asus GTX680. You can go with a 670 and save a few bucks. that PSU for one GPU is enough. So you good on that.

Hi! Two good choices for you are either of the following:

Nvidia 670
ATI 7970

Do not buy a GTX 680, it's only 5% faster, and overall just not worth it under most circumstances; a 670 can reach the same performance.

I personally recommend ASUS or Gigabyte for the GTX 670, fantastic card, get the TOP edition.

For the games you're playing I say go with the 670. You're power supply is fine too.

Without knowing the make and model of your power supply it is impossible to say if it's enough or not.
