My brother owns an Asus CM6850, we bought it around 2009ish and he wants to upgrade it for gaming. I just wanted to know if this newer parts are compatible with it.

well id get any card if they are cheap. Shit if a titan was like $500 id get it. But its not. Fact is 7870's are mostly overpriced right now. 650ti is a good choice for low budget. And look this guy is calling people gay. You can see how mature he is.

Those two are both unproffessional.

To answer your question, yes those two will work with your system.

If you know where to look.

You can get half decent ones but make sure they have the following:

-LED
-2MS (millisecond) response time
-60Hz refresh rate
-Atleast 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio

Yes that is a decent upgrade from what you currently have and should be able to handle games at medium settings at 1080p. Also here is a good monitor: Monitor: Asus VE247H 23.6" Monitor ($134.99 @ Newegg)

That is probably the closest you will get to a $100 monitor without sacrificing quality, it is one of the highest rated out there and you should really enjoy it. Though when picking a monitor I would go to your local store and ask around for monitors and find one that you like, not that someone else likes.
