"Deleting" a Harddrive

So I was messing about and trying to texture some files in a game called Arma, and in some software I had to use to make it I agreed to make a "new" HDD. I want to delete the P:/ without deleting the files from my C:/

You have to use windows disk management and delete the drive letter or Parton there then tell windows disk management to give the space back to the c drive Parton.

Looks like the software made a ram drive. P should go bye bye when you uninstall the program.

I had to install a handful of programs to get it too work, I thought I got rid of all the programs I guess I missed one. Anyway to tell what program it's directly linked too?

Restarting doesn't reset the drive? It does sound like software is keeping that drive in there somehow.

Perhaps the software you used to install it has a mechanism to remove it. Which may require reinstalling that software.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not quite sure what I mean. The P:/ shares the same memory as the C:/ but it doesn't have any of the current files that the C:/ has - http://gyazo.com/89e09d8bc5d23ce94ea9c693b1d228e1.png?1366847983

I just want to "delete" the P:/ I suppose.

Strange but here are a couple ideas:

Open a command prompt as administrator. Please return what these commands result in so I can help (Type cmd.exe in Run or in the Start Menu if you're using Windows 7)

Enter this command:

I know this is a network tool but I am curious:

net use p: /delete

Then type:

diskpart (wait to enter the new command prompt)

list disk

list volume

list vdisk

list partition
