SSD does not go faster?

Hi guys i bought this ssd hardrive recently but i am not getting those magically fast speed times.
why?

i just connected it on the mb to sata 1 .

atleast its small and lightwieght

if your OS is installed on it, then it should normally be faster. If you just added in the ssd and expect it to run faster, it wont until you at least dedicate the ssd as smart cache. If neither of the above works, its most likely some setting or ssd firmware or a hardware limitation somewhere.

Did you install the OS and some applications on the SDD? It appears no.

The magic only happens if you do it properly.

you are right but i havent goten arround messing with my computer... i havent used it in almost a year.
i might just build a nother computer for next year... i really want to build a mini powerhouse.. i am not even sure if you can have that much power on a mini atx
