used @bios to update bios. it loaded file X58AUD35.FH the latest with some Intel RAID update blah blah blah. rebooted got "missing OS" Went to gigabyte found file .FF is 1024kb .FH 2048kb mine before was .FC 1024kb. Now I can't get Q flash to work because of course "Wrong file size" Any way to make it flash the .ff file . Took battery out for over ten minutes several times even over 45 minutes looking for the damn battery when it decided to go hide.

When the BIOS updated, it should have set everything to default, check your settings to ensure the proper HDD boot priority, disk mode of ACHI/IDE (whatever you had before), etc.
Are you saying QFlash is not working or is not able to update the BIOS? Try flashing the BIOS to the previous version; afterwards update to the newest one. Also do not use @Bios, these Windows base utilities have a tendency to brick motherboards.

OK I won't use @BIOS ever again. NOW can someone tell me how to get Qflash to load the proper 1M bios file, when it comes up with "wrong file size" and says press any key(which goes back to the DIR). Obviousy @BIOS didn't have a problem with wrong file size. Is there a way to wipe out the bios and load the right file?
