I've connected my LCD TV (Samsung series 4, if I recall correctly), to my laptop ( HP or Compaq presario CQ61) via HDMI. It shows up as a Generic PnP monitor, and the video looks fine, and the sound works too... for about 2 -60 minutes, where the computer forgets that I have a tv plugged in and switches to the regular speakers and headphones. The video still works. Can anyone please help?
