SSD and HDD advice needed for Gaming PC

I plan to build a gaming PC/home theater PC this summer after Intel Haswell is released for somewhere between $1500 and $2000. Initially I was looking at using a 256 GB SSD for my Windows 7 OS and the software for my sound card, video card, printer, web cam, and Logitech gaming hardware. My intention was to install two seperate HDDs with each in the 1-2 TB range and have one used to store music and the other to store games. Currently I plan to install both Mass Effect 1-3 and Crysis 1-3 after I build the PC, but don't know how many other games I will purchase later, possible one to three a year. Would a 7200 or 10000 rpm HDD meet my gaming needs for the next two or three years or would I be better with an SSD? If an SSD is the better choice to store and run my games, how much storage space should I get? Regardless of the types of storage drives I get, I plan to keep my OS, games, and music on seperate drives, so I don't have to spend several days restoring everything if one drive fails.

For the question that you have about gaming with ssd and hdd, I would suggest first to get atleast 3tb for gaming (which is somehow overkill - but I'm almost full with my 1tb of games) as you said for the next 3 years, which should be enough cause games this days are around 1-20gb. Also, ssd's will just help you speed up loading on your games. What I could suggest is just use the ssd as normal for important tools, os, office and then games and music on the hdd.
