I have asked countless times about my first computer build and time after time again I have received some little problem that completely devastates my part list and budget. After countless hours, I think I finally have a good set up.

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130637

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161402

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231313

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146061

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027

Optical Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136259
I would also like to ask if this optical drive would be compatible with the 6gb/s sata port on my motherboard.

Along with a few other components which are plug and play via USB.

Note that I will not be installing any more fans so please tell me if the single 120mm fan is not sufficient.

I am praying to god that what I have here is a reliable, compatible, fitting, well balanced and cost effective set up. Please, if you are going to suggest any changes, I would appreciate if it remained within a $5 difference because this set up is already pushing my budget by a lot.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, added optical drive. Have a question about it.

bignastyid - I intend on playing whatever I possibly can manage with this build. I felt like the phenom was a decent compromise to afford a nicer graphics card. Also, it came discounted with the single stick of 4gb ram so that's out of the question. However, I do plan on adding another 4gb stick later on so it should be fine.

Very nice build man. I actually just did the exact same build myself for my GFs birthday (its scary that we came up with the exact same computer). Only difference between the builds was I went with 2x4gb of ram. I agree with everyone else in this forum so far saying go with 2 sticks and 2x2gb of ram will be plenty for current gaming (heck the xbox 360 only has 1gb lol). The computer runs quite well and the GFX card stacks unbelievably. If you decide to go crossfire later down the road with the 7770 you will not be disappointed.
