On finish screen it wont take me to start of windows

I have recieved my dads old harddrive it has windowxp service pack 2...its a hp and it has its backup disk partitioned in a drive..anyhow made it all the way till last screen it says finish so i push the finish button and nothing waiting waiting....

It won't boot into windows because all the drivers installed on the drive are for you dads computer and not compatible with yours. You would have to reformat the drive and reinstall Windows on it while in your computer.

Ok right you didnt understand
1. Harddrive tower from dad
2. It wouldnt let me download it would shutdown so....
3. Found out that the harddrive tower has the xp recovery disk
4. Followed prompts and started it
5. Worked well then it took me right to the last page..says thank you
you are ready to go so i push the green arrow thats beside finish
And im waiting and waiting...so far still waiting
How can i fix this
