Heya

I'm building a workstation rig with 2x xeons running on Asus Z9PE-D8 WS, Intel C602, S 2011

My question is... What case can I use for it if I want to use 2x H100/H110 to coll them down or does any one has better idea how to deal with it? Noctua maybe?

I want it to be 100% silent at 100% cpu usage.

Thanks, bye.

The Swiftech H220 might be a good option, you can change the tubing to make it longer if you need too. They are starting to come back in stock now.
Guessing your building for a company or your work then? Just go with a Noctua NH-D14 in that case. Will perform the same as a CLC cooler, water-cooling is much more an enthusiast thing. Its not really necessary for a working rig.

Heya

Building for a company where I work. Boss trusted me with 5k+ investment so I'm trying to prove that my 5k rig will be better than 14k rig from official brands that offer less performance etc etc:)

Thanks for case suggestion will check it out !

Yea I do think of noctua my main concern is noise so uhhh...

Thanks for help !

I guess another benefit to the Noctua is that its a heatsink, not much can go wrong with it. Even if both fans failed simultaneously, it would still passively cool the CPU well enough to allow it to shut down and not burn out the CPU.
With a water-cooler, you can have the pump or fans fail. Fans are not so disastrous for the same reason as above, but a failed pump will make that chip overheat very quickly.

Redundancy is everything in a business environment, the lengths some companies go to to secure their data. Think backup servers on a different tectonic plate.

The Noctua's are fairly quiet, at least as good as your gonna get without going ...*drum roll*... Custom water.

Yea I agree with noctua. I have 2 at home at my home server which I get to OC to 3.8ghz from 2.4 so yay. From what I remember tho when I run CPUs at native speed they were silent at 50C render times 100% usage so I might just go with air, in which case I could possibly get fairy small case...

Is EEB the same as EATX?

Thanks, bye.
