Hey everyone,

I'm new to overclocking and I'm trying it on my new i5-3570K and my new Z77A-G43.

Overclocking on this MOBO is supposed to be simple, and it was, as long as I did not need to try voltage tweaking - which I cannot perform it seems.

I can go up to 4.3 ghz stable without voltage tweaking (processor gets to 1.29V at charge by its own, didn't do anything for it - "oscillates" between 1.19 and 1.29 let's say). So then I tried voltage tweaking on the MOBO, and I wasn't able to see any change in CPU-Z. And I'm not sure this MOBO actually lets us do proper voltage control, the only option I saw displayed a list of "+0.0xxxxx V", and choosing one option didn't change the Core VID in CPU-Z...

Does someone know what I'm doing wrong ? or if the MOBO is limited ?

Hi,

I checked. I have version 2.9 of BIOS, which is latest, and yet the only options are "auto, +0.0002V, +0.0004V, etc"
