Solution
Everything on your rig is overkill and you do not have to buy all Corsair products to get a good rig. Not everything they make is 100% quality. Some stuff they make is great and I recommend it but others aren't. Especially the Dominator Platinum - it's a ridiculous premium (3X - 4X over the price of standard RAM) for absolutely zero gain in performance over RAM that's 1/2 the cost and you get nothing more than a fancy heat sink that doesn't work as advertised. Instead of a GTX 690, get dual GTX 670 - exact same performance for $300 less.

Try this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($309.99 @ Newegg)

Differences:

- Way less expensive RAM and you don't need DDR3-2400.
- Fastest SSD on the market
- Changed cooler to a much better D14
- Changed PSU to Super Flower made partial modular
- Dropped the extra fans. Don't buy until you get your case - they will be absolutely useless without knowing how many mounts you have and what size they are.
- Less expensive motherboard with Thunderbolt support.
- Dual 670 gives you near identical performance to the 690 within a couple of frames for less money
