Hello,

I home built this computer a while ago and ive been using it with absolutely no problems for months, but yesterday my computer randomly restarted and there was no picture being shown on my monitors (??). after sometime of replugging things in and waiting a while, i restarted my comp and it worked fine. but for some reason every time i launched a game after that my monitors would go blank and my computer randomly restarts. most of the time when my computer restarts i get no picture being shown on my monitors and it says "no signal" but i can hear the windows start-up sound on my speakers, and i have to replug my monitors and turn my psu on and off until *some* of the time my monitors decide to show a picture. you know how when you want to run a program as an administrator and your monitor goes dark for a split second before giving you the option to accept? well when i try that my monitors go blank and my computer decides to restart haha.

also: not sure if this is related but, 3days before this issue i also had problems with my mouse auto-disconnecting for several seconds at random times, and it didnt matter which usb hub i had it connected to.

here are my computer specs:

windows 7 home 64bit
intel i5 3570k @ 3.4ghz
gtx 580
sabertooth z77
corsair hx850 psu
8gigs ddr3 mushkin ram

i checked and im pretty sure all of my drivers are fully updated too.
my cpu temp is @ around 22-29 celsius which is normal i think.
all of my computer fans and lights work fine when my computer restarts, and none of my computer parts feel hot when i touch them.

If someone could help me i would GREATLY appreciate it. THANK YOU!

yeah but some of the programs i am trying to run as administrator dont require anything from the gpu, and my computer still decides to restart. im gonna try and connect my old graphics card and see if that solves the problem.
