The Time has finally come

Well they say that all good things must come to an end and today I am sad to announce that my time as the “Official” representative to Enthusiast Space for Intel® is coming to an end. At the end of April I will be moving on to other opportunities within Intel. Since I am not into long good-byes let me keep this short and simple.

In the little over two years that I have been posting on these forums it has been a great time for me. There is an old saying about finding a job that you enjoy and you will never work a day in your life. Well I can tell you I have truly enjoyed being part of this community and helping out with my knowledge of Intel products. For all the knowledge of Intel products that I have been able to share; I have learned so much more from all of the great people here.

So officially I will be done on the last day of April and moving onto my new job. I think that I will continue to visit the boards from time to time and see if there are any questions I can answer in my time off but the official part of the job will soon be done. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this community and for allowing me to learn so much from you.

I didnt know where else to put this so if you need to move it be my guess but since this is where I spend most of my time I put it here.

Fun fact because we are in the CPUs section: The (R)s and (tm)s show up even in your system property pages. My file server dutifully identifies itself as an Intel(R) Xeon(R) X5260. AMD processors on the other hand omit the (R) after the AMD and just put a (tm) after the product line name, such as AMD Opteron(tm) 6234.

Interestingly enough the manufacturer's full name (e.g. Intel Corporation, Advanced Micro Devices) and no (R)s or (tm)s show up in the chipset/devices information.
