Hi, i'm fairly new to PC Building, and i was thinking about getting an:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad Core Processor AM3 3.4GHZ 8MB Cache 125W 45N for my processor.

as well as an:

EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 1GB GDDR5 192BIT DUAL-LINK DVI-I DVI-D HDMI DP SLI Ready Graphics Card For my graphics card.

The power supply i will be using is the:
Corsair CX Series CX500 500W ATX 12V 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply

and my Hard drive will be: Western Digital WD Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

I was wondering if my parts were compatible, if my PSU could handle the graphics card, and also can you guys recommend me an affordable and compatible Motherboard that will work with my GPU and CPU.

Thanks.

Yep it's great. The CPU however is a bit old. If you can then I suggest you get an AMD FX 6300 (approximately $120) since it is newer and faster. A good motherboard for $100 would be the ASrock 970 Extreme3. Next up you get a 990FX chipset, the ASrock 990FX Extreme3. The PSU is also good, great low budget PSU for beginners and just people with not a lot of money in general.

Hope this helps,
