i have been offered to take a server tower off someones hands but i am clueless as to what to do even do with it. i am barely a beginner in general, and id like to put it to use. even though i have confirmed my email it isnt allowing me to add a picture for that reason.
uses for a free server tower?

Figure out whats in it first, thats where I would start if I was just handed an old server. You might be able to cannibalize HDD's or RAM for your rig.
If the case is one of the massive server style cases in thinking of, there's a decent sized market for that kind of thing among the extreme enthusiasts. Case size is always an issue when it comes to water-cooling.
