I have these various mouse problems for awhile now in my old computer(started 2 years ago). I naturally got used to it since I thought it would just fix itself. Left click won't work randomly sometimes and sometimes it would double click even if I only press the left mouse button only once. These problems still persists even if I change to a new mouse, reinstall drivers, reformat my hard drives, change to a different OS, etc. There's nothing seems wrong with my mouse(tested it with my friend's computer).

So let's get this straight:
Mouse issue - sometimes an uncommanded doubleclick
And you:
tried a new mouse
reinstalled mouse drivers
reformatted the hard drive
changed to a different OS
And it still does it?
And then connected that mouse to a different machine, and it doesn't do it? Never ever?

Yes. I even send few of my old mouses to a friend of mine(he's starting a net cafe) and he said there's nothing wrong with most of it(one of them have hardware problem). I usually change mouses when the symptoms are severe(constant double clicking + no clicks at all).
