I have 12 pc s in my computer training center. i also uses my center as cyber cafe whenever my systems are free.
How to block or give access to only one particular computer from my server pc.
I searched for softwares. but i found only one that in NETCUT. but i am using windows 8 and windows 7 in my lab. this software doesnot support to my OS.
I used a application "Internetlock" for some time with password. but my students finds the password and uses without our permission.

Kindly help me in this regard...

There are a couple of ways You can use the microsoft way which is to put in a domain server and have the users log into that. Since each user has his own id (you could use guest ones too that have no privileges) they would have their own password. You can load group policies to the machine when they log in. You can control pretty much anything from the network settings to which software they can run.

You can use a proxy server to filter the internet. This will allow you require users to log in first and you can control which sites they have access to if that is important. You will need to have a small server. A free unix based proxy is called squid.

You can use a firewall, some consumer routers have the ability to block and open based on ip or time of day. Many times these are called parental control. To use user based security you would need a advanced firewall...you can load DD-WRT on some routers and it has some of these advanced features.
