Hi there im new to this Forum and i really need some help upgrading my pc.Now i like playing some games on it that my Integrated card cant handle.Maybe games like Sims3, or when i upgrade Guild Wars2..

I haven't got a lot to spend so im on a tight budget as i know i will have to change PSU also.. I am not the best at pc stuff so i think this is my MOBO number.

Acer
RS780HVF

Im looking at the XFX Radeon HD6770 to go along with the Corsair 500w PSU and i am really wanting to know if this will work together.Thank You

HD 7770 is a great card and will help you max out a lot of games depending on your cpu and ram. We gave you the lower options because we dont know how much your budget is and as told you're on a tight budget. As long as you can afford the new psu and the 7770 that will give you great graphics and performance.

No problem, it's not just the mobo that you need to check. You also need to put the cpu and other components aside. The options that we gave you are just some better upgrades that you can get for a good price :D

hd 7770 is a good budget card and if u have a resolution of 720p it will handle almost every game at high details

HD 7790 is the way to go man!

5W more than HD7700 TDP but has 30% more performance. As long there is a 6-pin aux connector, you're fine with your current PSU. if not, any 450W+ PSU will suffice

Sorry for the late reply mate, I rarely open my account xD So for the driver problem that you're having right now, I would suggest to download a driver cleaner or so (some people don't suggest this cause it breaks a thing or two, haven't got any kind of problem like that so its up to you if you want to follow my advice). After cleaning the driver and restarting for at least two tries, install your new driver. Please do tell me if you're still having problems after that.

Everything seems to be working fine and im having a blast playing the new games that came with the GPU...Again thank you all for the great help.
