Today I installed two WD Reds 2TB. I created the RAID 0 array in the BIOS. I got into windows, initialised the disk as a GPT but now in computer management it's showing as being 2.047 TB not ~4TB.

I've tried converting it to an MBR and back and reformatting but to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

EDIT: Having played around for a bit, I've found that it needs to be a dynamic disk, so that a spanned volume can be created. Unfortunately that option is greyed out and I can only create a simple volume.

Solution
Issues were resolved the following way, I recreated two RAID 0 arrays in the bios then I created one spanned array in disk management. I think that should work now.

Thank you :).

Just gone into the BIOS and deleted the array and tried to make it again. It would seem that though the sizes are showing up as 1863 GB each, the maximum RAID 0 array size is 2048 GB. I assume that's a motherboard limit?

Motherboard, I couldn't tell you, it's inherited and doesn't have any obvious markers on it. It's x58 though. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate.
