ok so i try'ed to oc my ivy bridge 3570k on my z77 mpower

got to 4.5ghz all power saving stuff off ppl overvoltage enabled

core voltage 1.34
offset 100%

my temps running prime 95 on max core 71C-63 on lowest core
idle temps around 40-50 (thing isnt reading right that's for sure!)

i really want to hit something like 5GHZ but im new to overclocking

btw im thinking of de-liding in mind but that just sounds like the best way to brick ur cpu

sys specs
CPU:3570K
mobo:msi Z77-Mpower
GPU:7950 Vapor-X
CPU cooler:h100i Stock fans running in quite sitting (1300rpm)
case:TT MK-1

case fan set up is 2x 200mm fans intake(the fans that came with the case)

140x mm fan exhaust + the h100i pushing hot air out of the case

You're already at max temperature it seems. So it's probably better to start buying better cooling if you want to go further (better not go beyond 70°c - especially when it's not summer yet)
