am having comp problems and want to reboot my computer. I can't access the start menu - well, I can but when I try to click on something it just beeps at me and nothing happens. I can't search for anythng or open a single folder.
I also tried control alternate delete - it doesn't bring anything up.
I tried forcibly rebooting it by hitting the power button, waiting and opening it... and it doesn't take me through the normal start-up and log on, just puts me right back to where I was, including sites.
I even pulled the plug and let the power run down so it shut itself off, thinking that might force it to reboot. Nada. I plug it in, turn it on, it brings me right back to the site I was on.
Help??
