As long as your PSU meets the requirements listed here (http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-4000/hd-4890/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-4890-system-requirements.aspx) and it physically fits, you'll be fine.

Good luck!

there are 4pin molex to pcie adapters, are you sure there are no molex connectors on the psu that you could use?

well from what I can see on my pc, i think there are molex connector (the color is white not black, I'm not sure if color matters).

On the graphic card there are 2 6pin pci express input, the graphic card package includes one 6pin pci express connector. Doesn't the second 6pin pci express input goes through my psu power connector? (as I mentioned before that my power connector is only a 4pin fdd)

On the PSU should be a label that has the make/model on it. You can use a second PCIe to molex adapter. If your current PSU has no PCIe power connections on it, I suspect it may not meet your power needs.

We need the make/model to confirm.

Other than the label info, I am not sure. The 500CB info refers to some PSUs that Dell uses.

If your PSU doesn't have any PCIe 6-pin or 6+2-pin connectors, that would imply you have an older PSU that may not provide sufficient power to your GPU.

What is your budget for a better PSU?
