HEY GUYS I CURRENTLY RUNNING A ASUS M4A87TD MOBO AND WANTED TO KNOW IF ITS WORTH UPGRADING TO AN MSI 990FXA 65GD MY CURRENT PROCCESOR IS THE PHENOM II X6 T1100 AND 8 GIB OF RAM 1600MHZ AND GPU IS THE ASUS 7950DUII WILL THIS 990FXA BE WORTH UPGRADING?

Sorry about that so you say its not worth the upgrade only if i wanted to upgrade to an fx 8350 bulldozer but i am happy with the phenom x6 wont there be eny performance increases? ass i will maybe think of crossfire asus 7950 du2

Replacing the board will offer little to no gain with your current setup. If you want to run crossfire you may want to upgrade, because the 2nd port on your board is only 4x and will hurt performance. The MSI 990fxa has 2 16x ports(both run at 16x) so crossfire would run better.

Oky thanks for replying i will take the bord i will then look into it to upgrade the cpu to the fx8350 as i think the phenom 2 T1100 bottlenecks the 7950 do you also think so?
