My computer turns off on its own after about 2 minutes. I recently bought a processor and installed it without a problem. The thermal paste came pre applied, and the computer just started shutting down after a month of use after installing the processor. I also bought a new motherboard recently, and it installed without a hitch. Had it for 3 months now.
Here are my specs.

Asus motherboard M5A97 LE R2.0

Processor Description: AMD FX-8350 EIGHT-CORE 4GHZ 16MB 125W AM3+CPU

Description: Visiontek Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 PCIe

Okia switching power supply 650ATX

8gigs of ram, corsair and crucial.

That's what I was thinking, but what is your reasoning for thinking this? It is the only part of my computer that has not been replaced. The psu that is.

Just shut down, no bsod. usually is either overheat or power issue. And that not a quality psu brand/model.
