Helloo!
I just bought parts to my m-atx build and as mother board i picked maximus 5 Gene. As prosessor i had Intel I5 3550 from the past.
Other specs :
Kingston hyper X 8gb
Corsair sanforce 3 SSD (boot)
Zotac Gtx 670
Corsair 600W psu
...
Just put all my parts togeter and the compuer booted fine to BIOS
Then when i tried to launch windows it allmost immidietly bluenscreened quickly and then blank. Tried several times and nothing helped.
At BIOS i notised that the board wants to automaticly overclock my parts, and i think that is the problem.
I've cheneck that the cpu multiplier is normal ( it still wants to change the multiplier alltough its not a k-series cpu..), tried to look that the ram would not be overcloked at all either, and the BLCK is 100.
Still i cant find a place where the mobo would stop saying ( turbo oc goal 3700 ghz or somethig like that i cant remember exaclty.)
What i think would help i there were a button where i could just press that ( Boot whitout any overcloks or modifications)
Well im not 100% sure it would help. Thats why i asking you guys for help.
Windows files on my ssd are fine since the compter boots up good into troubleshooting mode.
Getting really desperate.
