A friend showed me this site, and I was wondering how accurate and reliable it is.
I'm looking at the "Exceptional" build. Is that the best I can get for that kind of money?

I wouldn't use that one, as it doesn't give you the ability to customize your build and see it all laid out. I prefer pcpartpicker.com for this kind of task, but that might just be me. On pcpartpicker you can assemble your whole rig virtually and see how much it costs

Agree with pcpartpicker. Depending on what you want to do (gaming, cad, surf, etc.) that particular build may or may not be the best you can get "for that kind of money".

The easiest way to get ideas here is to simply state what you want to do with your new rig and what your budget is, and ask the community for help and/or suggestions for a build. Once you have decided on what you want/need, use partpicker to generate the price.
