BF3 issues FPS is 29 only in small window

hi im playing bf3 for first time im so angry with my luck i upgraded my pc i purchased a radeon hd 5450 card and it required a 400w min psu so i bought a 500w psu installed that works a treat put in the new graphics card and yep still same trouble it runs in window mode only like super tiny so i cant really c whats going on if i make it bigger fps drops down mega bad become unable to play so im wondering yes i bought the wrong graphics card? or my duel core i3 intel processor isnt helping the situation or is it both which when i wanna play it in full window with everything on low would b fine untill i get the right thing so knowing what the problem is would b awsome thanks for reading

my mate has a GeForce GTS 450 for me to use hopeflly that will do the trick alternativly i will need to get processer also ive seen this AMD bulldoser 6 core processer i was wondering how the hell do i know if that will work on my pc

If you currently have an Intel you would have to get an new motherboard, it would probably be cheaper/better to get an i5 which would most likely be faster than that 6 core amd anyway. What motherboard do you have? The GTS 450 isn't great but its better than a 5450.

BF3 is not very CPU intensive at all.

GeForce GTX 650 i would like to get im kinda stuck on what to do now really dunno what mother board it is its a hp pavalion p6000 series if u could ive me ur awsome advise on where n what to get that would fit n and work well i would b forvever in ur debt changing motherboard would that reset my window's 8? n have to pay again?

Single player isnt, but multiplayer is.

That's been debunked and in my experience I lose 2-4fps in online 64player.

You maybe right, I have just seen a couple friends struggle with the game in multiplayer and upgrading or overclocking the cpu helped greatly. I personally dont play the game.

On an HD 7850 @ 1080P on High settings you should be around 40 to 60fps online in BF3.

Ya that game BF3 is extremely optimized to run better on nvidia hardware so ya the slower 560ti will probably do about the same as the more powerful beast HD 7850.
