I am in final stages of completing my PC build for gaming and only major struggle I have had is choosing the right memory. In the past all my memory has been Corsair but I have recently looked at Kingston, GSkill, and a few other brands. I went to Corsair's site and did their memory configuration page and this is the result they gave me. Would you recommend going with this brand or would GSkill be better performing and which model would be the best to go with? Appreciate feedback and input.

Out of those three the obvious answer would be the 1866Mhz Ram.

Right I agree with the 1866mhz ram. Are there any other brands besides Corsair that would be a better performing memory or bottom line that Corsair is the best option? I am wanting what will work and perform the best plus overclock and stay stable as well.

Mushkin works just as well, see my post above

Some of the top brands that I would choose are:

Corsiar - Tried and tested, we all know the name
Mushkin - the home town made, all sturdy parts, the underdog that screams quality
Patriot - the old brand, been around forever, get something like the Viper 3 series
GeiL- You have more money than sense to buy this RAM, they pre-burn test every stick at 180 degrees farienheit, my personal favorite when I can afford it. (An 8GB kit of DDR2 was almost 200$!)

I tend to stay away from G-Skill because they are being so popular that they arent

Hello, :hello:

Without a doubt I would suggest you to get the memory in the above quote. Since, it not only has the highest frequency also it has a lower latency.

GSkill V/s Corsair: Both are good brands and you can choose based on your preference. I prefer GSkill over Corsair especially Trident X series over Vengeance as they provide more head room for OCing. Anyways both are great sets.

Good luck with the upgrade.
