Hey guys! I'm building a gaming computer with some everyday school projects and video browsing. I'm looking to play Bf3 at least 40fps on high and hopefully be able to last me a year before upgrading? I'm not very sure about the motherboard though. You can probably tell from my specs that I am a rookie at this.

Current Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor $129.99
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard $79.98
RAM: Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory $47.98
HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $84.99
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB Video Card $134.99
Case: Raidmax Helios ATX-819WB ATX Mid Tower Case $34.50
PSU: Cooler Master Elite Power 460W ATX12V Power Supply $34.98
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer $17.98
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) $95.98

Total: $661.37

Thanks!

Solution
That PSU is complete junk. Get a 500w unit from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.
The case isn't the best. Look at NZXT source 210 for a very good quality and design cheap case.

Everything else looks good.

+1

this guy has it nailed.

Corsair CX (Builders) series are all solid cheap psus
