I HAVE A SAMSUNG HDD , windows 7 ultimate , 16 GB ram , Intel i5 quad core processor, and my motherboard is the ASUS P7P55D Delux . I have been running a GTX 260. I have a friend that will send me a GTX 460 , or a Radeon HD 7850. I had ordered a Radeon 6000 series , and it didnt work . I thought tht it was cuz it was refurbished , sent it back to 3B Tech, but on telephone they say it was a working card . Will my card run a Radeon?, box says crossfire and SLI technology. Link to board is http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/asus_p7p55d_deluxe/3.htm .... i REALLY CANT AFFORD TO BUY ONE ON FIXED INCOME , SO IF MY BOARD WONT RUN THE RADEON i WILL ASK FOR THE gtx 460 ...Thanks>: )

Hey guys , thanks a lot . This was my first post , and this site is AWESOME :wahoo:>: ) I hope it isn't the slot going bad , because the second slot from what I read a while back is for a secondary card and not for use if using only 1 card . And is it really possible for a card to not work if ur pos aint got enuff juice? I can get a slightly bigger one if that is mandatory.

the card can use any slot as long as the slot did not bottleneck the card (for example running the card on pci-e 1.1 x4 might bottleneck high end cards like 690). that antec 550 w should be good enough for 7850. in fact 7850 consume much less power than 460.
