Asus P8Z68-V LX usb 3.0 host controller not found

I have uninstalled the driver for the USB 3.0 and re-installed it from the disc that came with the motherboard.
Went online and got the latest Drivers and nothing I try works.
USB 3.0 does not show up in device manager either.
I have checked to make sure the BIOS is enabled, it is.
However the "ASMedia XHCI controller" does.
I have checked the properties and it says It is working properly.
Whenever I activate USB 3.0 host controller utility an error message pops up saying "USB 3.0 Host controller not found"

Has anyone else had this problem? If so any solutions?

P.S. I have a bad habit of not putting enough information for people to solve the problem. So if you need more information don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for your time and help.

Did you link me to a specific driver?
because it just brings me to the page where you select your OS

and i have tried uninstalling the driver, re-installing it and restarting. No luck.
