If you're happy with your rig, you're happy with your rig, but if you intend to make upgrades, your first priority is that dodgy power supply. To do otherwise is the equivalent of upgrading your car's sound system or having a dent repaired while driving around on shot brakes. The power supply is the lifeblood of your system and trying to get by on one that can very easily destroy your computer or start a fire.
