I was shopping around trying to decide between a 7970ghz edition and a 680 and ended up picking up the Vapor X model 7970 based on general user opinion on the big tech forums. All are saying that with the current drivers the AMD product is top dog right now. When I look at actual benchmarks though all show that the 680 wins pretty much every time. I'm assuming that these benches are from older driver revisions(and some from just stock 7970s).
Can anyone help stave off my buyers remorse and point me to 'modern' benchmarks?
