intel H61 chipset doesn't support DDR3 1600 but some H61 mobos support it
the chipset doesn't support 3rd gen cpus but some H61 mobos does ..the mobo design should be limited to the chipset specifications but some mobos surpass the chipset limitations ?!

Solution
well, sometimes they solve the problem with bios updates. im not sure every manufacturers does that though... gigabyte/asus/msi/asrock usually keep their boards updated...
or
there are newer revisions of the exactly same mobo's you can check by the mark r1 r2 etc. at the end of the title. those can support new hardware at a later date.

The H61 chipset does support 3rd generation Core CPUs, but the BIOS needs to be up to date.
